Tom lives near Martock with his fiancee and their two young children. They keep sheep and chickens and produce cider from the orchard.
“Having worked with sheep in New Zealand I developed an interest in the rearing of sheep and a love of mutton, which is difficult to find, so we decided to produce our own.
We carry out all of the work with the sheep, including the shearing, which is another skill I enjoy. We saved a huge French cider press from the wood burner in Normandy and it supplies us with plenty of fine cider throughout the year.”
